Attractec Jetsuit is a ruggedized fanless enclosure for Jetson Orin Nano/NX Developer Kit that enables quick and seamless migration of Jetson DevKit from the lab to the field.

Jetsuit Air

Jetsuit Air is an affordable standalone fanless enclosure for Jetson Orin Nano/NX Developer Kit.
With a volume of just 0.5l it is one of the smallest fanless Jetson enclosures, yet it is capable of operating Jetson reliably at up to 70ºC with no throttling at over 60ºC.

All the DevKit I/O is accessible.

Jetsuit Air Mounting

Jetsuit Air can be used as a silent mini desktop or integrated using DIN Rail, VESA mounting or wall-mounting.


Jetsuit Air is sold as an easy to assembly kit.

Jetsuit Tile

Jetsuit Tile is designed for deep embedding of the Jetson Orin Nano/NX Developer Kit. It excels in an extremely compact form factor of 0.28l and thickness of only 27.2mm. Furthermore, it requires no airflow for cooling. Instead it conducts heat directly into the cabinet wall or chassis simply by direct mounting.
Jetsuit Tile is capable of operating Jetson at full performance with the case at up to 80ºC.

All the DevKit I/O is accessible.

Jetsuit Tile Mounting

Jetsuit Tile is mounted directly attached to a chassis or cabinet wall using four screws. The mounting is also used for heat dissipation by conduction.


Jetsuit Tile is sold as an easy to assembly kit.

Industrial temperature Support

Extending the operating temperature range of Jetsuit involves separate mechanisms for low temperature and high temperature.
Defrost and Liquid metal can be applied independently of each other to operate in low ambient temperatures, elevated temperatures or both.

Note: Application of either Defrost/LM requires factory assembly of Jetson in Jetsuit so they are not offered as DIY kits.

Defrost for Low temperatures

The DevKit is rated for minimum temperature of 0ºC. Defrost is a pre-heater that ensures that even at subzero ambient temperatures the devkit components remain well within their rated temperature range.

  • Defrost incorporates a thermal switch that cuts off heater power once system is at 15ºC or above.
  • Heat is conducted to all system components through the chassis.
  • Defrost is powered by a separate DC source to avoid interference with system power.
  • Defrost protects internal components from frost and condensation by ensuring temerature significantly higher than ambient.

Liquid Metal for elevated temperatures

For supporting elevated ambient temperatures, liquid metal is applied between the Jetson die and the heatplate. This significantly reduces thermal resistance and lowers junction temperature Tj, allowing Jetson in Jetsuit to operate at ambient temperatures of up to 85ºC.

StayPlugged

StayPlugged is an add-on bracket for securing the power and I/O cables against unintended disconnection.
This is particularly useful in robotics and industrial deployment.

Using StayPlugged

StayPlugged is tool-free using thumb-screws for holding the bracket and retention clips.

StayPlugged Benefits

As an edge device, Jetson is usually unattended, and is often installed in hard to reach places where it is subject to all kinds of
mechanical forces. Proper cable retention is a must in order to prevent unintentional cable disconnect. However, the cable connectors in the DevKit do not have a locking mechanism.

StayPlugged fills this gap by securing the standard cables onto Jetsuit without the need for tools, without increasing the form-factor and with a quick and easy disassembly.
